Our race bag bike bag is designed for carrying cross country mountain bike race bikes or road bikes to and from events, races or trails.
Race bikes are generally pretty skinny, so if your bike is a bit on the
burly side, especially if it has wide handlebars you may want to think
about the Monster bag being more suitable
It is designed to retain mud and moisture inside the bag keeping your car, van or camper clean.
We know transporting bikes to and from events or trips away, or even just a run up the woods can be a messy affair.
The race bag is designed for the minimum of dismantling of your bike. Just pop off the front wheel turn the bars and there you go, no allen keys or messing around. The bag will take a bike with pedals but if you really want to maximise ease of storage or are carrying multiple bikes it is best to whip the pedals off and stash them away in the zippered up pocket inside.
Inside the bag is a wheel pocket and wheel tethers to keep everything where it should be.
The bag is reinforced in the right places, around the carry handles, and around the rear spindle area.
Our bags have a special water resistant outer shell and a PVC liner that is designed to keep mud and moisture inside the bag and the inside of your car, van or camper clean.
This is not a padded bag, you can pad it out with foam (or clothes!) if you want to take it on a plane, our bags are designed to be versatile and fold up really small when not in use, a bag you can use all year round to keep your car clean when transporting a bike as well as the occasional trip abroad.

![]() I spend a lot of time riding in the Kent countryside in the lanes and down to the coast, there are some really nice routes and some great clubs to ride with. A constant on these rides are the distinctive cooling towers at the now defunct power station at Richborough near Sandwich, Kent. These towers [...] A bright and early, minus 5 degrees start saw us teetering down crispy trails, carefully choosing lines that avoided the ice. Five minutes in our confidence picked up as it was nowhere near as slippy as it looked and there was plenty of grip as the tyres bit through the top layer of powdery snow. [...] |
