Duffbag Stealth Bag

This our "Stealth" bag, cunningly designed to pack a bike away into a very small bag, ideal for sneaking onto trains or buses or for checking in on flights without raising too many eyebrows.

Inside the bag are two wheel pockets and wheel teethers to keep everything secure, plus a small zip pocket for pedals and skewers.

With a bag this size, there is inevitably a bit of dismantling of the bike required, but that is more than made up by the ease of transportation - for example it will fit in the boot of a large saloon car so at the airport the taxi driver won't have much of a problem.

This bag is not padded, the idea is that it is designed to take up minimal space and be light- when you arrive at your destination what do you do with a great big padded bag or rigid case?

What we do is use foam to strategically wrap the bike where we think it needs it. light and simple

A bright and early, minus 5 degrees start saw us teetering down crispy trails, carefully choosing lines that avoided the ice. Five minutes in our confidence picked up as it was nowhere near as slippy as it looked and there was plenty of grip as the tyres bit through the top layer of powdery snow. [...]more
